2-Minute Warning With Rob Spradley
What if everything happening in the world today is pointing to the end times? In this episode, Pastor Rob Spradley of Lake City Church takes us through a powerful discussion on biblical prophecy, the rapture, and the signs unfolding before our eyes. From his personal spiritual journey to the global events shaping our future, this conversation will leave you reflecting on the times we live in and what's coming next.
History is not cyclical; it's linear and it's later than it's ever been, and these are the things that will come to pass:
- The Rapture – (the sudden disappearance of Christians)
- The beginning of the seven-year Peace Treaty – (between Israel and the worldwide leader)
- The start of the Seven-Year Tribulation – (worldwide catastrophes)
- The battle of Armageddon and Christ's Return to the Mount of Olives (world armies blood bath)
- The antichrist and the false prophet are cast into the Lake of Fire – (with the devil)
- The one-thousand-year reign of Christ Jesus on earth
- The creation of the New Heavens & New Earth and the new reign of Jesus Christ
- The beginning of eternity

2-Minute Warning With Rob Spradley
Prepare For End Times
In this episode, we're going to discuss the two-minute warning with pastor and teacher, Rob Spradley of Lake City Church and a long-time leader in the Assemblies of God Denomination.

Thanks for being here, Rob. I appreciate it.
It is my pleasure. It is so good to be with you.
My first question is pretty simple. Welcome to the show. Please tell us a little bit about your spiritual history and how you felt led to teach about biblical times.
My spiritual history could go back a ways. I came to Jesus as a young boy. I was five years old. I heard a gospel message on the radio. At the end of the program, the speaker said, "If you want to know Jesus, pray this prayer." I prayed the prayer and invited Jesus into my life. I was five years of age. I knew God had called me to be a pastor and to preach the gospel. I've been doing it ever since.
That's amazing. I've heard a little bit of that story. You had a near-death experience too, didn't you?
I had a death experience when I was little. Scarlet Fever was a big deal in those days. I contracted Scarlet Fever. I went into convulsions and died. We lived in the country. My mother called the country pastor. He came over, put his hands on my lifeless body, and said, "I command life to come back into this body in the name of Jesus." Instantly, I began to breathe again. I've been breathing ever since. Here I am.
That's a great start for this show. Share the event timelines as you see them rolling out.
I've said this before, but I really believe that the next big event on God's prophetic calendar is what is called the rapture of the church, the catching away of the church. That's when believers in Christ will be caught up to be with the Lord. Millions of believers will disappear in the twinkling of an eye. I believe that is the next big event on God's prophetic calendar.
That's awesome. As that happens, what do you think happens after the rapture?
After the rapture, then you have the beginning of the seven-year peace treaty between Israel and the worldwide leader. You've got the start of the seven-year tribulation of worldwide catastrophes. You've got the Battle of Armageddon and Christ's return to the Mount of Olives. You have the antichrist and the false prophet. They're cast into the Lake of Fire with the devil. You have the 1,000-year reign of Christ Jesus on the Earth. You have the creation of the New Heaven and the New Earth, the new reign of Jesus Christ, and then the beginning of eternity.
That's a lot.
A lot is going to take place.
What do you think about what's happening and how this relates to Israel and the timing of the seven fronts on Israel?
I believe all of this is leading to the Ezekiel 38039 Gog and Magog War. That will be led by Russia, Iran, and other Arab nations. We see this already shaping up. That's 1 of those signs that Jesus gave to us, 1 of those birth pains that we see taking place. In fact, every day in the news, you can see something. Watch Israel. Keep your eye on Israel. Israel is where you see what God is doing and how things are shaping up to the end of time as we know them. Israel is God's chosen people. God's hand is still on Israel regardless of what some people may think. As we see Israel in the news, what we're really reading about and seeing is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
It's an amazing time for living, isn't it?
Absolutely.
I say this several times to different people. I'm 74 years old. I've never seen anything like we're living. As we talk about this timeline and everything, what we're really talking about is there are signs that are happening and the prophecy has already been fulfilled. We can look around in our life and see it's already happening. There's proof. This is not just you and me making this up. There's proof that things have happened. Anybody tuning in to this show can see that this stuff has happened. I'd like you to give us a little idea of what you think of these six signs that already exist that everybody tuning in can get.
Signs Of The End Times
Jesus told us some of these signs. You read about them in the books of Daniel and Isaiah and other places in scripture. Here are some of the signs. One is a time of increased knowledge and travel. We've seen an explosion of knowledge and an explosion of travel to where we can travel anywhere in the world in a matter of hours, which is amazing. It used to take them years to travel. Another sign is a time characterized by tension between people and nations.
We're seeing that.
Every day, you're seeing that. Another sign is a time when troubles envelop the world. We certainly are seeing troubles of every kind, including things like hurricanes and earthquakes.
It happened up here in North Carolina.
Hurricane Helene and so forth. Another sign is a time of deception where people will be deceived about a whole host of things, including religious deception. There's a time of increasing sin and decreasing love. We're certainly seeing Sin abound. We're seeing the love of many people grow cool. There's the sign of the good news being preached to the whole world. If you think about it in the past couple of years, there would've been no way to preach or to communicate at all with people around the world simultaneously. Now, we have the technology to do it when we've never had it in the past.
What people are beginning to realize is that Bible prophecy is coming to pass. What I've noticed is that many people, including Christians, are frightened by these events. They're almost frightened to read about the prophecies that we see in scripture. I love the saying that Bible prophecy isn't meant to scare us. It's meant to prepare us. As we see these Bible prophecies coming to pass, it shouldn't scare us. It should help us to realize that we need to prepare. We need to examine our own lives and make sure that we have a relationship with God. When the rapture occurs, we don't want to be here after the rapture.
Bible prophecy isn't meant to scare us. It's meant to prepare us. As we see these Bible prophecies coming to pass, it shouldn't scare us. It should help us to realize that we need to prepare.
I'm out of here on the first ride.
Amen to that. We're out of here, for sure.
Before I go to this peace idea, you and I know we have peace whereas many people who may be tuning in to the show don't have peace. They're thinking about this threat and the two-minute warning that you titled this as. They're going, "What do I do when I see seven fronts on Israel and I see in the news we're a minute away from a nuclear bomb and all that?" That led to the second part of this show, which is to talk about whether America will survive. Is America shown in the Bible and prophecy?
America's Survival In Prophecy
I've studied many of the prophecy teachers and teachers of the end times. All of them that I have read say that there is no specific mention of America in Bible prophecy. There are a couple of places where you can think, "Maybe this refers," but it's not specific. It has led many of us to question, "Will America even survive during those days?" Since America is not mentioned specifically, I have to draw the conclusion that America is not here as we know it in these times.
Those possibilities that the Lord put in your heart, I really would like you to go ahead and share those.
There are several possibilities as to why America isn't mentioned specifically. One is that the Lord simply chooses not to mention America. That's a possibility. I don't think that is the option that I would choose to believe. Option number two is that America is destroyed by other nations. That could happen as well but I don't think that is the option that I would believe. A third option is that America could implode from within. Leaving our spiritual and moral foundations, we implode from within. That is certainly a possibility.
I really think the option that seems to make the most sense is that America will not be the same as she is now because the rapture or the catching away of the saints will have taken place at that time and millions of believers from America will have vanished. You can imagine the chaos. Imagine all the Christians driving on Interstate 77 and suddenly, they disappear. Imagine pilots piloting aircraft and suddenly, they're not there any longer. You can imagine the chaos that will take place. It's very possible that because of the rapture, America will not be the same nation or will not look the same as we do now.
You're right on that. Many people even reading this might go, "I don't even get this rapture idea." It is because of our faith that we believe in these things. Somebody can have a different opinion and that's okay. I can tell you I walk in peace and I know you do. This is a good way to outline the basics. People get confused about the book of Daniel and Revelation. They start to read those things and they get lost in space. The way you did this is a good way for people to look at it as a step-by-step process of what's going to potentially happen. They're watching social media. They're watching the news. They're seeing things going on with Israel. They're looking at society as it's changing. In light of world events and everything that's going on, we'd like you to tell us what time it is.
It's later than it's ever been. I relate to a little story that I heard about a girl who had trouble sleeping one night. She kept coming downstairs to her parents' bedroom. First, she wanted a drink and then she wanted to go to the bathroom, and then she wanted a cookie. Finally, the parents ran short of patience and they told her not to come downstairs anymore.
All the little girl could do was lie in bed and listen to the striking of the old grandfather clock downstairs. After the clock chimed 11:00, something jammed in the clock and it continued to chime. When the clock chimed the thirteenth time, the little girl threw caution to the wind. She ran downstairs crying, "Mommy and Daddy, it's later than it's ever been." She's right. I believe that it's later than it's ever been.
That is amazing. That's something for everybody to think about and to examine in their own life, right?
Absolutely. I trust that everyone tuning in will examine their own life. The question I always like to ask is, "If you were to die today, do you know beyond any shadow of a doubt that you're ready to stand before God? If you're not sure, you can be sure today."
We know how to help you with that, don't we?
We do.
Amen. Our goal here at the show is to provide people with tools to make it happen, including the action guide that we're going to put out about your notes and your concepts. People can look through that and be aware of what's next. If they're watching the news and they go, "Why are they doing that?" or they're watching social media, our goal is the same as yours. Ultimately, they have to know who the peace giver is. They have to know who that guy is. I really appreciate you taking the time because I know you're a busy guy. I appreciate the fact that you spent the time to share with us and this global audience about what's coming. Maybe with our prayers, there'll be some change happening. Thank you.
Thank you.
